• Senior Cost Accountant will collaborate with various departments to collect and analyze cost data, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses
• Preparing detailed cost reports and providing recommendations to management for cost optimization and control
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Performing variance analyses, identifying trends and discrepancies, and providing recommendations for corrective actions
• Conducting regular inventory audits, reconciliations, and adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Collaborating with the finance team to develop and maintain robust cost accounting systems and procedures
• As a Senior Cost Accountant, you will provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement and compliance
