Job Description Fleet Manager \n Location: Mesquite, TX \n Drive
Operational Excellence. Lead Teams. Ensure Safe and Efficient Fleet
Operations. \n Ashley is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee Driver
Managers in the South region and manage escalated issues for
assigned Ambassadors. This role is responsible for asset and driver
utilization, performance management, scheduling, and ensuring
compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours of
service. \n What You’ll Do: \n \n Oversee all dispatch operations
and coordinate logistics activities for timely and efficient
deliveries. \n Develop and implement dispatch procedures and best
practices. \n Monitor real-time delivery status and adjust
schedules as needed. \n Collaborate with planning, warehouse,
transportation, and customer service teams. \n Ensure compliance
with DOT regulations and company safety policies. \n \n Team
Leadership: \n \n Supervise, train, and mentor Driver Managers and
support staff. \n Conduct performance evaluations and provide
ongoing feedback. \n Manage staffing levels and create work
schedules. \n Foster a collaborative, positive team environment. \n
\n Customer Service & Communication: \n \n Serve as escalation
point for dispatch-related customer issues. \n Maintain proactive
communication with customers and drivers. \n Provide regular
updates to management on operational performance. \n \n Technology
& Reporting: \n \n Utilize dispatch software and tracking systems
effectively. \n Generate reports on key performance metrics
(on-time delivery, utilization rates, etc.). \n Identify
opportunities for process improvements and automation. \n \n
Qualifications: \n \n Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
required. \n Experience: 3–5 years in dispatch, logistics, or
transportation management. \n Strong leadership and organizational
skills. \n Solid understanding of DOT, FMCSA regulations, and hours
