Job Description Job Description Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 Annually Position Summary BoxHouse is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and the month-end close process for multiple entities. This role is responsible for general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, financial analysis, audits, and process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment. *This position is on-site in St. George, UT, or hybrid, with a requirement to be on-site one week per month. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries Perform month-end and year-end close activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts; investigate and resolve variances Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Account for complex transactions, including equity, revenue recognition, leases, and accruals Document accounting policies and procedures Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (required) 510 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) Public accounting experience is a plus CPA or CPA-eligible preferred, but not required Must be located in St. George, UT or able to work on-site at least one week per month Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive, self-starter mindset Ability to work independently and collaboratively What BoxHouse Offers Competitive compensation and benefits Opportunity for growth within a scaling organization Exposure to leadership and cross-functional teams Collaborative and supportive work environment Salary Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications Work Location This position isin-office in St. George, Utah.
