Job Description Job Description Job Title: Operations Assistant / Move Coordinator Pay: $22 per hour Start Date: ASAP Schedule & Hours: Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Post-training: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Overtime: Likely Weekends: Every 3rd Saturday if needed (approximately 4 hours) Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support daily operations within our moving and distribution services. This role plays a key part in scheduling, customer coordination, contractor oversight, and ensuring excellent service delivery for both household goods and commercial shipments. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Set and manage schedules to maximize operational capacity and customer satisfaction Coordinate moves, pickups, and deliveries with agents, contractors, and customers Track orders and ensure timely service completion Review local contractor productivity and profitability Monitor equipment condition and maintenance needs Maintain an “Excellent” customer service quality rating Handle customer inquiries and provide ongoing service support Perform additional duties as assigned by management Related Operational Functions This role may support or interact with the following areas: Move Coordinator / Operations Assistant / Dispatch Coordinator: Scheduling moves, coordinating with agents and customers, tracking orders, and ensuring timely service for household goods and commercial shipments. Customer Service (Distribution): Acting as a customer point of contact, managing calls, creating and updating orders, preparing estimates, and coordinating with move coordinators. Requirements & Qualifications The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) DOT knowledge Moving industry experience (preferred) Household goods dispatching experience (preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment Geographical knowledge Self-motivated and adaptable to daily operational challenges Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Company Description Our Professional Division works with clients as a stakeholder in their hiring strategy and process.
