Job Description Job Description Description: The Maintenance
Team Lead position is responsible for supervising plant employees
in a mining processing and production environment. This position
plans and assigns and oversees highly diversified duties to
install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility
equipment according to safety, predictive and productive
maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the
site’s business goals and objectives. Essential Functions

employee relations. Provide process employee coaching and
development. Resolve process employee issues through problem
resolution, with the assistance of the Maintenance Manager and HR
manager as required. Balance Safety, Productivity, Quality, Cost
and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to
continuously improve in all areas. Respond to emergency/unscheduled
repairs of equipment during production and perform scheduled
maintenance repairs of equipment. Perform mechanic skills
including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic,
troubleshooting and repair of equipment. Manage crew performance
measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress
reports to process manager. Perform all maintenance functions with
crew members in coordinating duties and tasks. Maintain proper
inventory levels. Manage crew priorities. Track absenteeism and
timekeeping. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and
orderly work areas. Competencies Leadership Performance Management

supervises all Maintenance Technicians in their day to day tasks.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles,
moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is exposed to a
variety of extreme weather conditions at construction job sites.
The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are
representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk and hear. This position is very active and
requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching,
crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift
and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust
focus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time
position, 7 days on, 7 days off, Thursday through Wednesday from
7:00 AM to 7 PM. Day shift only. Overtime may be required as
needed. Travel No travel is expected for this position.
Requirements: Required Education and Experience High school
diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an
equivalent number of years of education and maintenance experience.
4 years of mining experience; strong hydraulic, mechanical and
industrial skills. Preferred Education and Experience Previous
mineral processing production maintenance or process plant
maintenance experience Previous supervisory experience Work
Authorization/Security Clearance Authorized to work in the United
States.
