Job Description:
A company is looking for an Interventional Radiology Medical
Coder.
Key Responsibilities:
Review medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses and
procedures
Select principal diagnosis and procedure using UHDDS definition
Abstract information from medical records based on client
guidelines
Required Qualifications:
CIRCC or CCC credentials preferred
1 year of experience coding Interventional Radiology
1 year of experience with Diagnosis, CPT, and applying
modifiers
Minimum of 3-5 years of related coding experience
Strong understanding of ICD-10 CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding
principles and guidelines
