Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school in
Henderson, NV is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to
provide part-time services during the current school year contract.
This position focuses on delivering occupational therapy to two
students requiring individualized support, emphasizing both fine
and gross motor skills development within an educational setting.
Responsibilities: - Deliver direct occupational therapy services
tailored to student needs, primarily focusing on fine and gross
motor skill enhancement - Conduct comprehensive assessments and
develop effective treatment plans for students - Collaborate with
educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapeutic
strategies within the classroom setting - Utilize teletherapy
methods as needed to ensure consistent and accessible therapy
sessions - Document progress and maintain accurate records of
student performance Qualifications and Desired Experience: -
License as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational
Therapy Assistant (COTA) with experience in school-based settings -
Proficiency in teletherapy techniques and adapting interventions
for remote delivery - Strong knowledge of fine motor and gross
motor skill development and therapies tailored to children in K-12
schools - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate
effectively with school teams and families Location and Contract
