As our Assistant Field Director, you will play a vital role in helping us fulfill this mission. RedCliff Ascent is a wilderness therapy program in the Southern Utah high desert that works with teenagers struggling emotional, behavioral, and substance abuse disorders. We use primitive skills, evidence-based experiential and family therapies, and healthy relationships to help our students and their families begin their healing journey. This dynamic field leadership position is responsible for managing one of two shifts of Field Guides and the shift Field Support Manager. Duties include: Visiting the field to perform quality checks and provide staff support Appropriately documenting all field visits and group conditions Managing the logistics of your shift, including resupply drop, intakes, and student transportation Encouraging your shift and providing 1-on-1 support, including training and retraining Actively track the advancement of your shift's Field Guides Responding to and managing crises in the field, including completing incident reports Promptly and accurately sharing all updates on student and field conditions with the Leadership Team and/or the specific student's Treatment Team. Administering disciplinary action per company policy as necessary for your shift and appropriately documenting and communicating such with the rest of the Field Leadership Team While challenging, this may be the most meaningful job you've ever had .
