Job Description Pride Health is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant to join our team in Golden Valley, MN. Responsibilities : Communication with the health care team related to progress, concerns, questions or problems that arise are an essential element of the Medical Assistant role. Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of customer flow throughout the clinic. Tasks include standard rooming processes, giving immunizations, injections, and other medications as directed by the provider; and performing laboratory specimen collection as needed. Dependent upon the specialty and clinic location. Provide telephone support Facilitate communication between customers and providers. Assist with prescription refills. Perform x-ray duties as assigned if individual has passed the x-ray operator exam. Perform phlebotomy duties. Perform clinic laboratory tests. Front desk/check-in support. Ordering and stocking supplies. Assistance with prior authorizations. Required Qualifications: For Medical Assistant: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) or RMA program with certification. Previous clinical setting experience. Current BLS Certification. For LPN: Active Minnesota LPN license. Previous clinical experience. Current BLS Certification. Additional Information: Location : Golden Valley, MN 55427 Schedule : 40 hours/week - Days - 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Pay: $22.23/hour - $25/hour For Medical Assistant’s. *Higher pay for LPN’s * Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
