Job Description:

Job Title: Assistant Manager in Private Dental Clinic (Bonita Dental, 89030)

Job Type: Full-time

Job Attire: Scrubs (clean and wrinkle free), closed toed shoes, OSHA compliant.

Transportation: Responsible for own transportation to and from work.

Salary: $10.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Probation period: 90 days.

Full benefits package: Daily bonus of 2% from total cash collection, on every $1,000.00 collected.

Background check and two references required.

Education / Experience:

Experience:

Minimum experience of 1 year of Practice Web / Open Dental Practice Management Software (Required)

--
Front Office Dental experience (Required)

--
Dental Office: 2 years (Preferred)

--
Insurance Billing: 1 year (Preferred)

--
Insurance Verification: 1 year (Preferred)

--
Insurance: 1 years (Preferred)

Education:

--
High school or equivalent (Required)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

--
Knowledge of medical, dental and insurance terminology and procedures ( Required)

--
Knowledge and experience with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements (Preferred).

--
Knowledge of English & Spanish composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation as well as verbal proficiency.

--
Ability to work inter-dependently and cooperatively in team settings while providing efficient, accurate results

--
Be punctual.

--
Prioritize, organize, and complete assigned tasks.

--
Follow directions from the Doctor and directly assist him to create and prepare financial arrangements and insurance options that meet both patients and practice's needs.

Perform job duties for a specific duration of time as instructed by the Doctor.

Skilled in the use of standard office equipment including telephones, calculators, copiers, fax, computers, and computer software (OpenDental/PracticeWeb, XDR radiographic software, Remote Lite - Electronic Claims software, Microsoft Excel & Word)

Work cooperatively with patients and co-workers and engender trust from the doctor and co-workers

Must always represent in a professional and pleasant manner.

Responsibilities & Essential Duties:

Answer incoming calls

--
Greet, check patients in/out and schedule appointments.

--
Actively pursue provision of excellent patient service, maintain client communication and satisfaction.

--
Achieve client satisfaction and retention.

--
Insurance breakdown and verification on every patient that has dental or medical benefits.

--
Treatment Planning and review and manage various client accounts.

--
Perform general office duties and other assignments as required.

--
Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to minimum of HIPAA standards.

--
Completing client elected insurance services. Contacting insurance companies to obtain and timely record requested information while maintaining confidentiality. Insurance verification and detailed understanding of plans.

--
Assisting clients with insurance claim administration, patient benefits along with benefit verification and perform organizational functions to ensure efficient payment and progress.

--
Exercise discretion and independent judgment regarding coverage and insurance claims and resolves billing disputes with little supervision.

--
Provide and complete insurance paperwork and obtain information from patient's insurance provider(s) as needed to ensure payment

--
Account receivable tracking and follow up.

--
Complete claim follow up and claim submission and appeals.

--
Payment posting.

--
Analyze, prepare and summarize a weekly ROI (Return On Investment) statistics.

--
Communicate directly with doctor and dental office staff.

--
Train dental office staff on VDO (Value-Driving Organization) processes and procedures.

--
Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
