As a Senior Customer Service Representative, You'll provide support to your team members by serving as a resource or subject matter expert. - Both of these are opportunities for you to identify and exceed our customer expectations by committing to and building strong relationships internally and externally. At the end, you'll know you performed with integrity and delivered the best customer service experience making all your customers and team members feel better because they talked to you.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:30am - 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 58 N Pecos Rd. Henderson, NV
We offer 2 weeks of hands on training. The hours during training will be 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. -
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patients for surgery (hospital/physician/anesthesia/equipment)
  • Go over all pre op paperwork with patients answering all questions
  • Schedule patients for pre-op appointments
  • Collect surgery copays/deductibles
  • Gather all pre-op testing for patients to give to physician
  • Notify physician of any abnormal labs
  • Obtain prior authorization
  • Check eligibility
  • Confirm surgeries with patient/hospital/physician/anesthesia/equipment
  • Schedule post-op appointments
  • Adjust physician schedules as needed
  • Answer incoming calls regarding surgeries, clearances, auth's etc. -
  • Entering referrals online
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Provide high level of customer service while communicating with internal departments
  • Able to problem solve
  • Any other duties that may arise

    High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent experience -
  • 2+ years of Medical office experience
  • Basic skills in computer proficiency
    Basic Knowledge of Nevada Health Insurance
  • Ability -to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:30am - 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Surgery scheduling experience
    Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
