Job Description Job Description Job Title: Project Procurement Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Onsite Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships within complex, multi-phase projects. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance. Key Responsibilities Experience working with EPC's. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor onboarding. Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and finance to forecast material requirements and mitigate supply chain risks. Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on spend, delivery schedules, and risk assessments. Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 7 years of procurement experience, preferably in industrial, mining, energy, or large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and procurement best practices. Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience with international sourcing and logistics. Familiarity with sustainability and ESG considerations in procurement. Professional certifications such as CPSM, PMP, or equivalent.
