Job Description:
JT4 provides engineering and technical support to multiple
western test ranges for the US Air Force and US Navy under the
Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II.
We develop and maintain realistic integrated test and training
environments, and prepare our nation's war-fighting aircraft,
weapons systems and air crews for today's missions and tomorrow's
global challenges. JOB SUMMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Perform
operations on assigned Joint Data Network (JDN) / Link-16
equipment. Perform a variety of assignments involving technology
applications involved in the installation, operation, testing, and
maintenance of complex electronic/mechanical equipment and systems.
Able to work a varying schedule to include nights and weekends in
support of mission schedule. --- Supports functions as a Data Link
Operator (DLO) for the locally operated data link network and
operates equipment associated with Link-16 as required. ---
Operates and communicates via local radios in support of DLO
functions. --- Must be able to professionally, verbal communicate
via radio, on an individual basis with customers, and providing
briefs to groups of customers. --- Understands and extracts data
from the OPTASK LINK message, for customer support and customer
operational needs. --- Identify and correlate JTIDS UNIT (JU)
number to OPTASK LINK information --- Acts as a Multi-TDL expert
and interfaces between TDL participants and other elements of the
TDL operational mission. --- Coordinates between unit and JDNAs to
meet local unit requirements during missions conducted in the Range
Operations Center. Must have knowledge of and follow procedures
mandated in CJCSM 6120.01, Joint Multi-Tactical Data Link Operating
Procedures when operating TDL's. --- The employee shall obtain,
maintain and comprehend the Network Description Document (NDD), and
data load file information for all NTTR related networks. for use
in coordinating during missions, --- Become proficient to a SME
level on the NTTR provided C2 software. --- Be able to identify and
efficiently communicate data link operational issues in a timely
manner. --- Become proficient at extracting DERG files from
software and provide to customer upon request or as needed. ---
Manages training requirements applicable to local and subordinate
unit link operators. --- Perform other related duties and
assignments as directed. REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND
WORK EXPERIENCE Associates Degree in a technical discipline or
formal academic/vocational/military training with a minimum of 4
years of experience in the specialty field. Minimum of two years of
experience with Link-16 equipment. Completion of JT-101,
Introduction to Joint Multi-TDL Network Operations, is required or
must be completed upon hire. Completion of JT-102, Multi-TDL
Advanced Joint Interoperability Course, is preferred. The incumbent
must possess broad knowledge of Link-16 operations. This position
requires knowledge on the Joint Range Extension (JRE) Client
Software, Battlefield Command and Control Center - Theater (BC3-T),
Amalgamated Remote Management System (ARMS), and various other
types of associated Link-16 equipment and software. Excellent
communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer
systems and integrated software application programs. The position
may require the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design
solutions to problems in operational hardware and software. Must
qualify for and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and
possess a valid state issued driver's license. SALARY The expected
salary range for this position is $62K to $85K annually. Note: The
salary range offered for this position is a good faith description
of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4 LLC considers
factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the

skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business

their job. WORKING CONDITIONS This position involves work typical
of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is
occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a
computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing,
reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing
abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. Routine
travel to remote Company work locations may be required. DISCLAIMER
