Summary:The Maintenance is responsible for the maintenance of company-occupied buildings including: troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance based on customer needs and requirements.Job Duties: - Analyses and diagnoses customer equipment problems and breakdownsRecommends the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problemsMakes appropriate equipment repairs or modifications to solve operating and performance problems as dictated by the analysis of the customer's equipmentPerforms scheduled equipment maintenance per customer contractFollows all scheduled maintenance procedures and policies as dictated by the companyDocuments each service call, providing the necessary paperworkObserves all safety procedures, makes certain that hazardous waste is properly disposedOther duties as required and assigned For food accounts, incumbent is responsible to report food safety problems to senior management to initiate action.Requirements:High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalencyMinimum 1 year related experience and/or trainingExperience in electrical, plumbing, building systems, HVAC, and general maintenanceExperience with power tools, lifts, and hoistsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formEnvironment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. He/she is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. He/she must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
