    Position Summary
    The Supply Chain Manager is based in Las Vegas, NV and provides support to our operations in Las Vegas, Ontario and Lockeford California. This position works with management team members to support the operations' goals. The selected candidate will plan, direct, and monitor all materials planning, inventory control, storage, shipping, and receiving activities so that the operation has access to the inputs, materials, goods, and services it needs for its current and future operations.
    Principle Accountabilities


    • Ensures the execution and management of all inventory replenishment activity utilizing such tools as Material Resource Planning (MRP), Kanban, Order Point, or other methods as needed.


    • Develops, facilitates, and maintains a production schedule in support of maintaining appropriate inventory levels, customer demand and make-to-order customer requirements.


    • Ensures the execution of inventory transactions including raw material and labor issues, purchase orders, finished goods movement and shipment.


    • Oversees and supervises the MRP Planner/Buyer, MRP Scheduler, and Inventory Control Specialist.


    • Monitors material variances to identify waste or inefficient practices in the manufacturing process, recommends appropriate solutions and investigates inventory variances.


    • Oversees, facilitates, and maintains formal audits of inventory, planning data, bill of material, and inventory / production costs.


      Qualifications
      Position Requirements
      The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrates history in Materials Management, preferably in an industrial setting (manufacturing, industrial, etc.). Additional candidate attributes include:


      • Bachelor's degree in business, materials management, or related field.


      • Five or more years' experience in a materials manager function with progressive responsibilities throughout the operations.


      • Demonstrated experience in material planning, inventory control, shipping and receiving, production planning.


      • Problem solving methodology and lean skills utilized for materials management.


      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.


      • Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines.


      • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence, and initiative without daily interaction with management.


      • Demonstrated agility in leading through change and ability to create and implement new standard processes.


      • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
