Job Description:
The RV General Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the
sales department of an RV dealership. They manage a team of
salespeople, set sales goals, and develop strategies to increase RV
sales. They are responsible for ensuring that the sales department
operates efficiently, provides excellent customer service, and
meets or exceeds sales targets. Key Responsibilities: - Hire,
train, and manage a team of RV salespeople. - Set sales goals and
develop strategies to increase RV sales. - Develop and maintain
relationships with customers to increase repeat business and
referrals. - Monitor sales activities and performance, and provide
coaching and training as needed to achieve sales targets. - Analyze
market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement promotional activities and events to
attract new customers. - Ensure compliance with all legal and
ethical sales practices. - Manage inventory levels and work with
the parts and service departments to ensure timely delivery of RVs
to customers. - Provide excellent customer service and resolve
customer complaints in a timely manner. Qualifications: -
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a
related field preferred. - Proven experience in senior sales
leadership roles, preferably in the RV or automotive industry,
including knowledge of dealership finance and insurance (F&I)
processes. - Strong leadership, coaching, and team management
skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -
Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and
the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Working
Conditions: - The RV General Sales Manager typically works in an
office setting - The job may require working evenings and weekends
to accommodate customer needs - The work environment can be
fast-paced and stressful, requiring the ability to work well under
pressure - Travel may be required to attend industry events or meet
