Job Description:
US Foods, a leading force in the foodservice distribution
industry, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Account
Executive to expand our reach and foster enduring relationships
with restaurants and foodservice operators across the nation. As an
Account Executive with US Foods, you will leverage your in-depth
knowledge of foodservice products and market trends to drive sales
and meet targets. Your role will be crucial in supporting clients
as they select high-quality supplies, including our exclusive
private label brands, helping to facilitate their business success
and growth. Develop and sustain long-term relationships with client
accounts to maintain continuing revenue streams. Identify client
needs and propose solutions that align with their business models
and goals. Schedule regular meetings with clients to ensure they
are satisfied with their purchases and to discuss further
opportunities. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize
profits. Track and analyze market trends to position US Foods as a
market leader. Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to
ensure the delivery of prompt and accurate order fulfillments.
Provide detailed product information and demonstrations to clients.
Attend industry functions and participate in professional
associations to enhance networking and market penetration. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to manage and
grow customer relationships Negotiation and closing abilities
Extensive industry knowledge, particularly in food products and
restaurant operations Competency in CRM software and MS Office
Suite Analytical skills in sales forecasting and financial
reporting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Preferred: Certified Professional Sales Person
(CPSP) Relevant food safety certifications (e.g., ServSafe)
