Thispositionis responsible forthe developmentand revisions
ofprevention andeducation ofcurriculum, materials,and
presentationsin multiple formats and platforms across
theorganization.This individualwillalsofacilitatepresentations and
trainings serving youth,caregivers,thehospitality
industry,community- basedgroups,systems -based agencies, and the
community at large. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core
duties and responsibilities include the following: Serve as the
coordinator ofthe prevention and educationprograms and
curriculum,includingbut not limited to,the Child AssaultPrevention
Program (CAP),YourSPACE,We Care, Stay SAFEand Enough Abuse.
Updateandcreatecurriculumor modificationsforprevention and
educationprograms adheringto best practices and evidence-based
models. Delivereducationalprogramsas neededboth internally at SOH
and externally. AssisttheProgramsDirectorandPREA
ServicesManagerinassuring that
allcontent/materialmeetsintendedgoals and objectives.
Responsiblefor collecting andmaintainingdata and feedback from
training evaluations to support program reporting and ongoing
improvement. Collect data onactivities/services provided, client
demographics, and other information for grant reporting and
responsible for data entry into our management database,
Collaborate. Assistin the scheduling for community presentationsand
training requests. As with all positions in the organization, this
position is expected to go through, complete, and graduate
fromAdvocacyUniversity. AssisttheVolunteer Coordinatorwithevent
planning, Advocacy University (In Person/online)presentationsandthe
coordination ofoutreacheventsas needed. Participate in tabling
events and resource fairs to promote SOHas needed. Collaborate
withthe ProgramsDirectorandthePREA ServicesManagerto updatecontent
oncommunity awareness initiatives. Responsible for reviewing,
updating, andmaintainingtheAdvocacy University modules
(Coassemble), AdvocacyUniversityVolunteer Manual, curriculum
materials, and presentation PowerPoints to ensure accuracy,
consistency, and alignment withcurrentprevention and education
standards. Organize and prepare materials for all prevention and
educationprograms. Represent SOH and the
CommunityEngagementDepartmentin external committees, taskforces,
and other relevant partnershipsthat will help spread the
wordaboutthe programs and services at SOH. Responsible for
supporting advocacy services as needed, includingmandated
reportingobligations, answering crisis and business phone calls,
andassistingclients as neededwhich applies to all SOH positions.
Other duties may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job
successfully, an individual
musthavethenecessaryknowledge,skills,andabilities.Mustmaintainand
have availablean activeworkingphoneand reliable

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Successful candidates must have
aminimum of
aBachelorsDegreefromanaccreditedcollegeineducation,human services,
social work,gender studies,orarelated field. Skills and experience
with curriculum and materials developmentarestrongly preferred.At
leasttwo yearsofteaching or education and training
experiencepreferred. Those selected for the position will have to
complete a50- houradvocatetraining andparticipateincontinuing
education activities a minimum of 3 times per year. COMPENSATION:
$22.89per hour
